I got one Boilerman "Bright Young Things" 7" returned from a distributor, so it's back in stock for the moment.  Grab that last white copy while you can!  I also added some of the second Boilerman 7" to the store, so you can now get that from me as well!

Church Whip 7"s

I've got the Church Whip s/t 7"s in the distro.  I've waited for what seems like forever for this to come out and it was worth the wait.  Pick it up while it's around!

No Sir I Won't 7"

After long delays, the first No Sir I Won't 7" is finally out and I have copies in the distro.  For fans of creative, excellent political/peace punk.  Members of Brain Killer, Witches With Dicks, Surrender, Foreign Objects and more.  Get on it.

Boilerman News

I just sold my last copy of Boilerman's "Bright Young Things" 7".  Ice Age Records still has some copies, so that's where you should snag one if you haven't yet.

Boxsledder/Brickfight split 7"

I've got some copies of the Boxsledder/Brickfight split 7" that I added to the distro.  This 7" is great and there are only 300 of them, so don't pass it up.

In other news, I'm down to one final copy of the Boilerman "Bright Young Things" 7".  Boilerman is nearing the end of writing for an LP and intends to begin recording at some point in September.

Dead North "Spot Remover" Out Of Print

I am officially out of the Dead North "Spot Remover" tapes.  You can still get copies from the band on tour or from a handful of other distros.  I do, however, have one more copy of Dead North's 2011 Winter Tour tape which I highly recommend.  Get on it.

I'll be updating the distro with some great new pop punk and hardcore records in the next day or two, so watch out.

Release Update

Just a quick update on the availability of Hip Kid releases:

- Boilerman "Bright Young Things" 7" is sold out from me.  Pick it up from the band at a show or from ICE AGE RECORDS.
- Sloane Peterson LP is down to less than 20 copies and won't be repressed.
- Dead North's "Spot Remover" CS is down to the last 9 copies ever as well.
- I found a box of 20 Loaded for Bear/Bizarre X split CDs and have about 15 left.  They're up in the distro for dirt cheap ($2), so grab one while they're still around as these won't be repressed either.
- Still have a grip of I am the Cartographer/Humanifesto split 7"s and Goat Bell/Pool Party 7"s and they're up in the store for cheap as well.

Classic Good News/Bad News Routine

Bad news first. Grasseaters have suffered a crippling personnel related blow to the band and the 7" will likely not see the light of day in that format, at least not any time soon. Keep your ears peeled for any possible developments with the recordings, as I'll post any news of them here.

As for the good news, I got some great new trades in, as well as other new distro items, and it's all up in the webstore. Some really cheap stuff, some rare stuff, and a Mikey Erg flexi. Releases and Distro Updates

I updated the releases page with information on the Sloane Peterson LP. I also added new releases by Rational Anthem, Big Eyes, Billy Raygun, and Lipstick Homicide to the webstore. Scope it out!

Next up is a 7" by Oklahoma's Grasseaters. I just got the mastered songs yesterday and they sound incredible. It should go off to press by the end of February, so keep your eyes peeled and prepare your ears.

Sloane Peterson LP is Out Now!

Dead North and Sloane Peterson

I have some of the last copies of the Dead North Winter Tour tape in the distro and just added them to the store. Get them while you can!

The Sloane Peterson LP is complete! The record release show is tonight with DOC, Poison Planet, Coke Bust, Shitstorm, and Tenement. The lineup is ridiculous. I should have my copies of the record sometime next week. I'll be doing a special deal with them in which the first 30 people to mailorder the record will get a free past Hip Kid release with their order. Keep your eyes peeled for that as well as a few new distro items next week.
