Releases and Distro Updates

I updated the releases page with information on the Sloane Peterson LP. I also added new releases by Rational Anthem, Big Eyes, Billy Raygun, and Lipstick Homicide to the webstore. Scope it out!

Next up is a 7" by Oklahoma's Grasseaters. I just got the mastered songs yesterday and they sound incredible. It should go off to press by the end of February, so keep your eyes peeled and prepare your ears.

Sloane Peterson LP is Out Now!

Dead North and Sloane Peterson

I have some of the last copies of the Dead North Winter Tour tape in the distro and just added them to the store. Get them while you can!

The Sloane Peterson LP is complete! The record release show is tonight with DOC, Poison Planet, Coke Bust, Shitstorm, and Tenement. The lineup is ridiculous. I should have my copies of the record sometime next week. I'll be doing a special deal with them in which the first 30 people to mailorder the record will get a free past Hip Kid release with their order. Keep your eyes peeled for that as well as a few new distro items next week.

New Sea of Shit EP in the distro

I got a few copies of the new 7" from Chicago's Sea of Shit in the distro. This record is fantastic, raging powerviolence that is not to be missed. Get one before they're gone.

Distro Update and Super Cheap Backstock

I just put the new 7" from Teenage Softies in the distro. This record is seriously phenomenal and I highly recommend it. I don't have a lot of copies, so get on it.

I also found a couple boxes that had some old releases in it. I have about 25 copies of the Loaded for Bear/Bizarre X split CD, which was previously OOP. These are on sale for a mere $2. I also found a box of old Die Slug Car Yep 7"s that have been sitting around for years. I was tasked with distributing these in high school and so I'm selling them for the price of paypal fees and shipping (a measly 10 cents). Add them to an order and scope it out.

Sloane Peterson LP Impending

The test presses for the Sloane Peterson "Why Go Out?" LP have been approved. That means they should be out before the end of December. I'm going to have some deals going to coincide with its release, so keep checking back! This record is seriously great and I can't wait for it to be available.

Sea of Shit EP and Tour

I just added the new Sea of Shit EP on tape to the distro. This is their songs that will be on their upcoming s/t 7", but on a limited tape version for their tour. Get it while you can, as it's one of the best powerviolence releases I've heard in some time.

In other news, as of 9/16 the distro will be on the road with me on Boilerman tour. If I get any mailorders, they will ship in the time I'm home between legs (10/3-10/8) and then be on the road again until the end of October. So come out to a show and pick up some records!

At long last, the Dead North - Spot Remover EP cassettes are here and available for mass consumption. For a mere $5ppd, this glorious 3 song pop punk gem from Cincinnati can be yours to keep on pro-pressed cassette. There are only 100 of these and between the band and a preemptive trade, I'm already down to 70 copies.

I just added a bunch of new distro titles to the distro page. Lots of great new stuff and some restocks from bands like New Creases, Unfun, Rational Anthem, Dead Uncles, Daniel James Gang, and more. I also found a last copy of the excellent Right Turn Clyde - Sippin 7" and I put it up for cheap, as well as dropped a few other prices. Check it out!

In other news, the Dead North tape is at the plant right now and should be in my hands in the next two weeks or so and the band will have their copies shortly after. Those will be up for sale as soon as I can them, as well as wholesale and limited trades for distros.

Lastly, thanks to everyone who helped out with the Boilerman midwest jaunt this past weekend. It was a lot of fun.

So, I am putting out the new EP by Dead North. It's called Spot Remover. Dead North is great, super catchy pop punk from Cinncinati. Boilerman has played with them every time we've been in Cinci, and they've just proceeded to get better each time.
